Dragon Fang

In Final Fantasy VIII, the Dragon Fang is a recurring item typically considered a material, not very useful on its own but can be refined or mixed to obtain more powerful abilities. Dragon Fangs are primarily used to craft Squall's ultimate weapon, the Lion Heart, as well as for creating various items such as Remedies, Med Kits, Megalixirs, and Elixirs. They can be obtained by defeating specific enemies such as Blue Dragons, Grendels, Hexadragons, and SAM08Gs. Early in the game, players can choose to fight T-Rexaurs in the Balamb Garden Training Facility or nearby forests, or engage Grendels in forests near mountains on the Galbadia Continent. The Dragon Fang is also a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series, with different uses and methods of acquisition in various games. It generally symbolizes a warrior's strength, and the resolve and power needed to defeat powerful dragon-like creatures.
