Mystery Fluid

In Final Fantasy VIII (FF8), "Mystery Fluid" (also known as Strange Liquid, with the Japanese names ナゾの液体 or 謎の液体) is a recurring item with multiple uses. Primarily, it's used as an item and is crucial for teaching the Blue Magic spell "Acid" to the Guardian Force, Quistis. Additionally, Mystery Fluid can be obtained by refining one Gayla card. In item refinement, one Mystery Fluid can be refined into 10 Meltdown spells. It also serves a purpose in equipment enhancement, providing 1-10 base experience value and +6 bonus points. In Final Fantasy XIII, "Strange Fluid" is also used as a component for equipment, providing experience value bonuses. In Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Strange Liquid is a loot piece required for making equipment. Mystery Fluid is described as a liquid with a bracing odor that can melt metal, highlighting its diverse uses and making it a significant item in the game.
