Shear Feather

Shear Feather is a common item in Final Fantasy VIII, obtainable through various methods such as defeating specific monsters, stealing, or refining from cards. It serves not only as a regular item but also as a material for magic refinement and weapon modification. The most frequent way to acquire Shear Feather is by dropping or stealing from a monster called Thrustaevis. Additionally, players can refine Shear Feathers from Thrustaevis cards using the T Mag-RF skill. It can be refined into 20 Aero spells. In terms of weapon modification, Shear Feathers are frequently used as upgrade materials to enhance weapon attributes. Given that Final Fantasy VIII lacks equippable armor, players can enhance character attributes by combining Guardian Forces and magic, and Shear Feathers play a crucial role in acquiring magic. Overall, Shear Feather is a significant resource in the game, playing a vital role in both character progression and equipment enhancement.
