Weapons Mon Aug

The "Weapons Monthly" series of magazines in Final Fantasy VIII are important collectibles that provide information on weapon upgrades. While upgrades don't require these magazines, they list the necessary materials. The "Weapons Monthly August Issue" specifically includes information on weapons like "Ehrgeiz" and their corresponding upgrade materials. This magazine is found in Trabia Garden, near the ruined fountain and gargoyle statue. Additionally, it can be bought at the Esthar bookstore if the Guardian Force Tonberry’s "Familiar" ability is obtained, adding it to the shop list. The magazine is not directly used for magic or item refinement; it unlocks weapon upgrade info, providing material lists. Throughout the game, players collect "Weapons Monthly" magazines to unlock and upgrade ultimate weapons for characters like Squall. These magazines are scattered across various locations, and players need to explore thoroughly to collect them all.
