Pet Pals Vol.3

Pet Pals Vol. 3 is a magazine in Final Fantasy VIII that provides a new special ability for the character Rinoa. This magazine can be purchased at the Timber Pet Shop for 1000 Gil. Upon reading the magazine, Rinoa learns the "Invincible Moon" ability, a combined Limit Break where her dog Angelo assists in battle. This skill allows Rinoa to enter an invincible state and inflict damage on enemies. The magazine displays a status bar for the skill, which gradually fills by walking with Rinoa in the party, and once the bar is full, the skill is mastered. While the magazine itself cannot be used in combat, it is crucial for mastering Rinoa's Limit Breaks and gaining an edge in battles. The Pet Pals series consists of six volumes, each providing Rinoa with new skills, thereby making her more versatile in combat. The magazine also serves as a unique collectible in the game, providing additional collection fun for players. Players should watch out for these unique items in shops as they explore the world, so they can gain more powerful combat abilities.
