Pet Pals Vol.6

Pet Pals Vol. 6 (ペット通信６号) in Final Fantasy VIII is an important in-game magazine that unlocks a new skill for Rinoa Heartilly's special move, 'Combine', involving her dog, Angelo. This magazine isn't found directly on the map, but instead, must be purchased from specific shops later in the game. After purchase and reading it, Rinoa can choose to have Angelo learn the 'Wish Star' skill in her status screen. This skill enables Angelo to perform a special attack during battle. Like other Pet Pals magazines, Vol. 6 is a crucial component for unlocking Rinoa's combat abilities. Since Final Fantasy VIII lets players select which skills Angelo learns, obtaining this magazine directly impacts Rinoa's performance in the game. Players need to be attentive throughout their gameplay and buy the magazine in time to make sure that Rinoa's skill tree is fully expanded. You can buy this magazine at Timber Pet Shop or Esthar City Book Store (Karen's Store).
