Occult Fan II

Occult Fan II from Final Fantasy VIII is a magazine that provides players with important clues about the Guardian Force Doomtrain. While not necessary to unlock Doomtrain directly, reading it helps players understand how to obtain the necessary items to summon it. This magazine mainly describes a sighting of an unidentified flying object (actually Doomtrain) and mentions one of the items required for its summoning – Malboro Tentacle. Players can find it in Dollet's pub by playing a card game with the owner and then examining the book stacks in his private room. Additionally, it can be purchased at the Esthar Book Store using Tonberry's special ability. This magazine can also be obtained elsewhere in the game, such as through Chocobo World. It offers key hints for acquiring Doomtrain and enriches the lore of Final Fantasy VIII.
