Kamikaze

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Kamikaze" (Japanese: じばく) is a unique command ability. This ability is learned by the Guardian Force Cactuar, or can be taught to other Guardian Forces through the item "Bomb Spirit." Kamikaze sacrifices the user to deal massive damage to a single enemy, with damage equal to five times the user's maximum HP, and has a chance for a critical hit, reaching up to 60,000 damage. Although the character using this ability is immediately removed from the battle and cannot be revived, the Guardian Forces linked to that character still gain EXP and AP. This ability is suitable for use against strong bosses, especially when a character has high HP. It should be noted that if "Kamikaze" results in a "double KO," where both the enemy and the user are defeated simultaneously, the game will result in a game over. This skill can be a high-risk, high-reward strategic option for defeating high-level enemies or as a finishing move in boss battles.
