MiniMog

MiniMog, or コモーグリ, is a unique character in Final Fantasy VIII that appears in multiple forms. Firstly, it is a pseudo-Guardian Force summoned with the 'MiniMog' command, learned by any GF through the item Mog's Amulet. This amulet is obtained from the PocketStation game 'Chocobo World' in original versions, or Angelo Search in the Remastered edition. MiniMog is a redesigned moogle, more feline in appearance and lacking the traditional pom-pom. Its summon ability, 'Moogle Dance,' revives all fallen Guardian Forces and restores their HP, but costs gil. Secondly, MiniMog is a rare Triple Triad card, a Level 8 GF card important in the game's minigame. This card can be won from a boy in a blue shirt running around Balamb Garden, and is part of the Queen of Cards sidequest. It can be refined into 100 Pet Houses using Quezacotl's Card Mod, but it is generally advised to keep it for the minigame and sidequest. MiniMog also makes guest appearances in other Final Fantasy games, such as Mobius Final Fantasy.
