Spr+20%

In Final Fantasy VIII, 'Spr+20%' or '精神+20%' is a character ability that permanently increases a character's Spirit stat. The Spirit stat influences a character's defense against magic attacks and their resistance to negative status effects. When equipped, this ability grants an additional 20% boost to the Spirit stat each time the character levels up. It is highly beneficial for players looking to maximize their characters' Spirit, especially in the later stages of the game where many powerful enemies use magical attacks. This ability is learned through specific Guardian Forces (GF), typically requiring a certain amount of Ability Points (AP) to acquire. Notable GFs include Leviathan and Cactuar. Leviathan needs to master 'Spr+40%' before learning 'Spr+20%'. Spr+20% is among many character abilities that can help players better navigate through the game's challenges.
