Spd+20%

In Final Fantasy VIII, "Spd+20%" is a character ability that increases a character's battle speed by 20%. This ability isn't obtained through character leveling but rather learned via Guardian Forces (GFs). Specific GFs, like Pandemona, can learn this ability by consuming Ability Points (AP). Additionally, players can teach this ability to GFs using items like "Spd+20% Scroll." When a character junctions a GF with this ability, their speed stat is increased by 20%. The speed stat impacts a character's turn order and attack frequency in battle. Therefore, Spd+20% is a crucial ability for boosting battle efficiency. In-game, this ability can be combined with other speed-enhancing methods such as Haste magic to further amplify a character's speed and achieve battle advantages. Players can obtain GFs and items required to learn Spd+20% by exploring the world, defeating enemies, or completing sidequests.
