Med Data

"Med Data," also known as "くすりのちしき", is a support ability in Final Fantasy VIII that doubles the effectiveness of healing items used in battle, synergizing with the Auto-Potion ability. The primary benefit of this ability is that it unlocks Alexander's Med LV Up refine ability. Med Data is learned by Alexander for 200 AP and can be taught to other Guardian Forces through Doc's Code. Doc's Code can be refined from 10 Elixirs using Eden's GFAbl Med-RF or from Leviathan's card using Quezacotl's Card Mod. This skill enhances the recovery effect of healing items such as Potion, Hi-Potion, Hi-Potion+, Mega-Potion, Phoenix Down, and Mega Phoenix. While Med Data itself is a useful healing method in combat, its main use is to unlock the Med LV Up skill required for crafting Remedy+ which requires Doomtrain.
