Move-Find

In Final Fantasy VIII, the "Move-Find" ability, known as "隠しポイント発見" in Japanese, is a crucial support skill. It allows players to uncover hidden "Draw Points" (magic extraction points) and "Save Points" within map environments. These points are normally invisible and require a character equipped with this ability to be revealed. While hidden Draw Points can still be used even when not displayed, hidden Save Points must be made visible via "Move-Find" before being accessed. The ability is learned by the Guardian Force "Siren" and costs 40 Ability Points (AP). "Siren" can be drawn from the boss at the top of Dollet Communication Tower or obtained at Tri-Point in the final dungeon. Once learned, this ability is essential when exploring new areas, ensuring that no important hidden locations are missed, such as Draw Points for the "Aura" spell during the Battle of the Gardens event or a Save Point before fighting Ultima Weapon. It is vital for completing collections and challenges in the game.
