SumMag+40%

In Final Fantasy VIII, "SumMag+40%" is a crucial ability that significantly enhances the damage output of Guardian Forces (GFs). This ability increases the damage of GF summon attacks by 40%, making it an essential buff for battles in the mid to late game. Players can acquire this ability in several ways, either by having specific GFs learn it or by using certain items. With "SumMag+40%", players can inflict much higher damage when summoning GFs, especially useful against challenging enemies. This ability, combined with the GF's "Boost" ability, can further increase the summon's damage output to a higher limit. It's worth noting that different GFs may require different learning paths and AP values to learn this ability. For example, Doomtrain and Bahamut can learn "SumMag+40%" through leveling or using specific items. "SumMag+40%" is an important means for increasing the player's combat capabilities, and combining it with a reasonable combination of GF abilities is essential for progressing through the game.
