Sell-High

In Final Fantasy VIII, 'Sell-High' is a very useful ability that allows players to sell items to shops at a higher price. This ability is learned by the Guardian Force Tonberry and requires 150 AP, after Tonberry has already learned the ability 'Haggle.' Once Sell-High is learned, players automatically receive an additional 50% on the selling price when selling items to shops. If the player possesses both 'Haggle' and 'Sell-High' abilities, they can sell items for the same price they bought them. Though this ability is typically acquired later in the game when the player's finances are usually comfortable, Sell-High remains a helpful way to generate Gil quickly. By combining this ability with others, and using specific items, players can earn game currency more efficiently. Sell-High does not appear in the game menu, but is automatically in effect, offering a convenient trading experience.
