Time Mag-RF

In Final Fantasy VIII, 'Time Mag-RF' is a menu ability that allows players to refine specific items into time and space magic spells. This ability is a crucial part of the game's refining system, which enables players to acquire magic that is difficult or impossible to find directly. Through Time Mag-RF, players can create powerful spells such as Haste, Slow, Stop, Demi, Quake, Double, and Triple. These spells are not only useful in battle but also enhance character attributes through the junction system. To use Time Mag-RF, players need to have the Guardian Force Diablos learn this ability. Diablos can be recruited by using the Magical Lamp obtained from Headmaster Cid during the Timber mission briefing. Once learned, this ability allows players to create spells from items and allocate them to party members, with each character being able to store up to 32 different types of magic, with up to 100 of each spell. Time Mag-RF is essential for obtaining advanced magic and allows players to gain an advantage in battles by acquiring powerful spells early in the game.
