Ammo-RF

Ammo-RF, or Ammunition Refiner, is a crucial menu ability in Final Fantasy VIII. This ability allows players to transform various items into ammunition, primarily used for Irvine's Limit Break, 'Shot,' and is also essential for crafting Squall's ultimate weapon. The Guardian Force Ifrit learns Ammo-RF for 30 AP once it reaches Level 10 or higher. If a player removes this ability using Amnesia Greens, it cannot be regained. With Ammo-RF, players can convert normal ammo into fast ammo, fuel into fire ammo, and cactus thorns into a significant amount of demolition ammo. Venom fangs can be converted into dark ammo. AP Ammo, which ignores enemy defense, is created by refining Chef's Knives obtained from Tonberries. The highest grade of ammunition, Pulse Ammo, is vital for crafting Squall's ultimate weapon and can be obtained from Energy Crystals, which are dropped by high level Elnoyles or from card games.
