GFabl-RF

GFAbl Med-RF, or GF Ability Medicine Refiner, is a menu ability in Final Fantasy VIII. It allows players to refine items into items that teach abilities to Guardian Forces (GF), including command abilities like Card and Devour, and support abilities like junction abilities, stat-boosting abilities, and passive abilities. This ability is one of the best refiner abilities in the game, but is obtained very late and often requires rare items. The Guardian Force Eden learns this ability for 30 AP. Using GFAbl Med-RF, players can create some of the rarest and most useful items in the game. For instance, it is possible to obtain 'Hundred Needles' without Chocobo World, or to refine 'Whispers' into a 'Healing Ring'. Furthermore, GFAbl Med-RF is crucial for creating stat-boosting items, particularly when combined with Doomtrain's Forbid Med-RF ability. Despite its difficulty to acquire, GFAbl Med-RF is essential for character development in the late stages of Final Fantasy VIII.
