Originally called the "Sealing Facility," it was created to seal the evil Sorceress Adel. Later, it was used to contain individuals considered a threat, such as Rinoa. In the game's plot, the Esthar Sorceress Memorial is not only a key location for events but also symbolizes the complex emotions of Esthar, a technologically advanced nation that also fears sorceress power.
