Dollet - Comm Tower

The Dollet Communication Tower is a significant location in Final Fantasy VIII. The Duchy of Dollet is a small, independent duchy located in the northeastern part of the Galbadia continent. The communication tower is one of the few locations in this duchy to possess broadcasting technology, making it a target for various factions. In the game's plot, it also serves as the setting for the SeeD (mercenary organization) entrance exam. The player-controlled characters, including Squall, Zell, Seifer, and Selphie, will carry out their final SeeD exam mission here. They need to occupy the town and eventually gain control of the communication tower. The battles include confrontations with Galbadian soldiers, Biggs and Wedge, and a monster called Elvoret. During the mission, players also need to draw the Guardian Force Siren from Elvoret. After successfully taking the tower, the team must return to the beach within 30 minutes and also escape the pursuing mechanical spider, X-ATM092. The Dollet Communication Tower is not only a key location in the story but also a challenging level, adding tension and difficulty to the plot of Final Fantasy VIII.
