Trabia - Bika Snowfield

Trabia, also known as Trabbia, is a frigid region located on the northern continent in Final Fantasy VIII. The Bika Snowfield is a part of Trabia, characterized by a harsh climate with perpetual ice and snow. This area is home to Trabia Garden, an academy for young students, many of whom are orphans, training with some aspiring to transfer to Balamb Garden to become SeeDs. Trabia Garden suffers a devastating missile attack in the game's story, but its students and survivors are determined to rebuild. Despite the harsh environment, the inhabitants of Trabia maintain a resilient spirit and a tradition of mutual aid, embodying 'taking care of each other' rather than just 'taking care of oneself'. The area also features enemies like Mesmerize and Gayla, which provide useful crafting materials for weapons and magic, respectively. Bika Snowfield and Trabia Garden play significant roles in the story of Final Fantasy VIII, serving as important locations for the protagonists to explore and recall memories.
