Trabia - Thor Peninsula

Trabia, also known as the Thor Peninsula in Final Fantasy VIII, is a cold continent located in the northern part of the game's world. The region is characterized by its snow-covered landscapes, mountainous terrains, and scattered islands. It is also the location of Trabia Garden, a military academy where students are trained, although smaller than Balamb Garden and Galbadia Garden, its students and faculty still comprise a major population in the area. Trabia is also notable for a large crater formed by a Lunar Cry triggered by Esthar while testing the Lunatic Pandora 17 years before the game's events, which acts as a barrier preventing players from accessing the Esthar continent too early in the game. Despite in-game descriptions stating that only Shumi tribes and Moombas inhabit the area, Trabia Garden's students and personnel comprise the majority of the population. They engage in advanced agricultural research and have a distinct dialect and army. In the game, Trabia Garden is destroyed by a missile attack, with the students determined to rebuild the school.
