Dollet - Malgo Peninsula

In Final Fantasy VIII, Dollet is a small, independent duchy located on the Malgo Peninsula in the northeast region of the Galbadia continent. Dollet was once part of the Holy Dollet Empire, which controlled much of the Galbadia continent, but is now just a small duchy. Dollet is known for its warm climate and beautiful scenery, making it a popular tourist destination. It also serves as the location for the protagonists' SeeD entrance exam early in the game. In the game's story, Dollet possesses broadcasting technology, which makes it a point of conflict between different factions. Galbadia invades Dollet, seizing control of its radio tower, prompting the Dollet Parliament to hire SeeD mercenaries. The protagonists are among the SeeD mercenaries involved in the battle for Dollet, where they also meet their companions. Dollet's terrain includes beaches, towns, and mountain paths leading to the communication tower. The area also features a variety of enemies. The player will return to Dollet several times during the game, and its state will change based on player actions.
