Galbadia - Lallapalooza Canyon

Galbadia is a significant nation and region in Final Fantasy VIII. Located on the Galbadia Continent in the western part of the game's world, it is the most powerful political and military force on the continent. Initially led by President Vinzer Deling, Galbadia is a military dictatorship that aims to expand its territory, engaging in numerous invasions of other countries. Deling City is its capital. The nation possesses a formidable military, comprising well-trained soldiers and advanced weaponry, such as long-range missiles. Galbadia's history dates back to the ancient Centra civilization, which created two major empires: Dollet and Esthar, thousands of years ago. After the fall of Centra, Dollet split into three countries: Dollet, Timber, and Galbadia. Under Vinzer Deling's leadership, Galbadia expanded its influence, eventually controlling most of the western continent. In the story, Galbadia also allies with the Sorceress Edea, further consolidating its power. However, Edea ultimately kills President Deling, leading to chaos within Galbadia. Later, the country is led by Seifer and the G-Army. Galbadia plays a crucial role in the game's story, serving as one of the main adversaries to the protagonists. Its military strength, political ambition, and alliance with sorceresses significantly impact the plot's development.
