Galbadia - Rem Archipelago

In the world of Final Fantasy VIII, Galbadia is a powerful military nation located in the western continent, ruled by the dictatorship of President Vinzer Deling. Galbadia's territory spans the entire western continent, and its power is constantly enhanced through continuous military expansion and oppression of neighboring countries. Galbadia also established Galbadia Garden, a military academy focusing on weapon technology and military training, which is different from Balamb Garden's philosophy of cultivating mercenaries known as SeeD. In the game, Galbadia conflicts with Balamb Garden, and its military power plays a significant role in the story. Galbadia's military forces include well-trained soldiers, mechanized weapons, and missiles, all of which play vital roles in the game's plot. In the story, Galbadia was initially ruled by Vinzer Deling, but later came under the control of the Sorceress Edea, becoming her main base of operations. Additionally, the Galbadia Continent includes other regions such as Dollet, Timber, and Winhill.
