Esthar - Fulcura Archipelago

Esthar, in Final Fantasy VIII, is a major political power and the name of its capital city, Esthar City. It is located on the large continent east of Galbadia, serving as Galbadia's main political rival and its territory spans the entire eastern continent. Esthar is known for its advanced technology and is governed by a president. Since the Sorceress War, the city has been hidden using a cloaking device known as the Optical Camouflage System (OCS). Esthar's technological prowess surpasses that of other nations, boasting a powerful military and advanced weaponry. Its history dates back to around the same time as the Dollet Empire, founded by people who migrated to the east of Centra. During Sorceress Adel's rule, Esthar initiated the Sorceress War, but after the war, it closed its borders and remained silent. Esthar City, the capital, is renowned for its luminous blue buildings and translucent pathways, and it features platform shuttles for convenient city-wide travel. Esthar plays a significant role in the story, with its technology, politics, and history greatly impacting the plot's progression.
