Adel(Boss)

Adel is a major antagonist in Final Fantasy VIII, serving as the former ruler of the highly advanced nation of Esthar. She is a powerful sorceress characterized by her immense size and masculine, muscular physique. Described as cruel, ruthless, avaricious, and power-hungry, Adel embodies pure evil. In the game, she appears as a boss, where she junctions Rinoa to herself, draining Rinoa's HP, leading to a game over if Rinoa dies. To defeat Adel, players must carefully protect Rinoa's HP and use single-target attacks, avoiding area-of-effect attacks that could harm Rinoa. Adel is imprisoned in space during the story but later freed and controlled by Ultimecia, eventually being defeated by the protagonists. She has also made appearances in other Final Fantasy spin-offs, such as Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade and Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
