Bahamut(Boss)

Bahamut is an optional boss and Guardian Force in Final Fantasy VIII. As a boss, he is located in the Deep Sea Research Center, and players must solve puzzles and defeat the preceding Ruby Dragons to challenge him. In battle, Bahamut has powerful physical attacks like 'Claw Swipe' and magical attacks including 'Stop', 'Thundaga', 'Tornado', and his signature non-elemental attack 'Mega Flare'. Mega Flare ignores the target's Spirit stat, dealing significant damage, but can be mitigated with 'Shell' and the 'Defend' command. Bahamut is vulnerable to Blind, which can weaken his physical attacks. After successfully defeating Bahamut, he becomes a Guardian Force for the player, able to summon 'Mega Flare' to inflict huge damage on enemies. As a Guardian Force, Bahamut does not naturally learn any junction abilities, but is the first to learn Stat+60% support abilities, has the ability to gain HP by walking on the field, and is the only GF to naturally learn Auto-Protect. Bahamut's card can be obtained by defeating him or in the late game through the Card Club.
