BGH251F2(Boss)

BGH251F2, also known as 'Iron Clad,' is a boss in Final Fantasy VIII. It is a large, mobile war machine of the Galbadian army, with a hemispherical body and three pairs of driving units. It is equipped with a powerful beam cannon on top and a Gatling gun on the bottom. Unlike X-ATM092, BGH251F2 is designed more like a tank, operated by three crew members. Players encounter it twice: first at the Missile Base with Selphie's team, and again at Fisherman's Horizon with Squall's team. During the Missile Base battle, BGH251F2 is controlled by Galbadian soldiers and performs a powerful 'Beam Cannon' attack every four turns. As it takes damage, it loses turrets and uses the Beam Cannon every turn. In the Fisherman's Horizon battle, BGH251F2 is out of control due to the Missile Base's destruction, but still uses the Beam Cannon and targets near-death characters. You can steal 'Adamantine' during this fight, a material needed for Squall's ultimate weapon 'Lion Heart.' BGH251F2 is also a Triple Triad card that can be refined into 10 Protect Stones.
