Bomb

In Final Fantasy VIII, the Bomb is a common enemy, appearing as a floating fireball with arms and facial features. Bombs grow when attacked with physical or magical attacks, doubling their Strength and Magic stats with each growth. Their primary attack is self-destruction, which occurs under certain conditions and inflicts damage equal to twice their current HP. Low-level Bombs typically do not self-destruct, but at higher levels, their self-destruction poses a significant threat. Bombs are weak to Ice attacks, which can quickly defeat them. In the game, Bombs are also a type of Triple Triad card, obtainable by defeating Bomb monsters. The card itself is not strong, but its value lies in its ability to be transformed into other items via the Card Mod ability, such as Bomb Fragments, which can be used to refine magic or craft weapons. Additionally, the Bomb is a classic monster from the Final Fantasy series, frequently appearing in other titles.
