Geezard

The Geezard, also known as ハウリザード, is a common enemy in Final Fantasy VIII. It's a lizard-like creature typically found in small groups. Encountered frequently early in the game, Geezards are significant for dropping Screws, a crucial material for upgrading weapons. They are relatively weak in combat and can usually be defeated with a single normal attack, although higher-level Geezards may use 'Bad Breath', dealing magic damage and inflicting Slow. Additionally, the Geezard is a Triple Triad card, one of the earliest cards players can obtain. It can be refined into Screws, adding to its value in the game.
