Gerogero(Boss)

Gerogero, also known as Namtar Utuk, is a boss in Final Fantasy VIII. It's the true form of the Fake President Deling, transforming into a grotesque monster after taking sufficient damage. As an undead enemy, Gerogero takes half damage from physical attacks, is weak to Fire and Holy, and immune to Death and Doom, but is instantly killed by resurrection abilities or items. It uses status ailment attacks, like Silence and Berserk. Gerogero can be drawn for useful magic, such as Esuna and Double. Strategically, besides using a Phoenix Down for an instant kill, healing spells like Cure will hurt it. In the Triple Triad card game, Gerogero is a card that can be used for play, or refined into equipment. The Gerogero card initially featured red organs in Japan, which were changed to blue for Western releases, likely due to censorship.
