Oilboyle(Boss)

Oilboyle is a boss encountered in Final Fantasy VIII. Two Oilboyles are fought as bosses in the Balamb Garden - MD Level, and later appear as regular enemies in the final dungeon, though only one at a time. Oilboyle is weak to Fire. It uses a counter-attack called Oil Blast when one third of its HP is removed. It also has an attack called Sonic Wave that can inflict Curse on all characters. Uniquely, Quistis's Degenerator Limit Break can be used effectively against it. Players can defeat Oilboyle quickly by junctioning Fire to elemental attacks and using Fire magic. Irvine's Flame Shot and the Guardian Force Ifrit can also be effective against Oilboyle. Oilboyle is a Level 6 Boss Card in Triple Triad, used in the minigame and convertible to Fire Ammo using Quezacotl's Card Mod. The card can be obtained by successfully using the Card command on a Cockatrice or a GIM47N, or by winning it from Triple Triad opponents who use Level 6 cards.
