SAM08G

SAM08G is an enemy in Final Fantasy VIII, and also a collectible card. A Galbadian cybernetic weapon in the game, SAM08G is known for its unique "Store" ability, where it charges for three rounds when other enemies are present, after which it uses "Cannon Blow" or "Wild Cannon Blow". It does not absorb fire damage, although its card is fire-elemental. Players can acquire its card by defeating it or using the "Card" command. The card is a Level 3 card in the Triple Triad minigame, and can be converted into the item "Running Fire" using Quezacotl's "Card Mod" ability, used to learn Quistis' Blue Magic "Gatling Gun". The SAM08G card can also appear in the hands of card players later in the game.
