Tonberry King(Boss)

Tonberry King is an optional boss in Final Fantasy VIII, first encountered in the Centra Ruins. The player must defeat 20 to 50 regular Tonberries before Tonberry King appears. Upon defeat, the player gains the junctionable Guardian Force, Tonberry. The Tonberry King is known for unique attacks, such as "It's Sharp!", which deals damage based on the number of enemies the target has killed. He also uses a counterattack called "Junk", which throws items at the party, causing damage. Tonberry King also possesses powerful magic, including Full-Life and Curaga, which players can attempt to draw. Tonberry King is also known for its unpredictable fighting style, making it one of the more challenging bosses in Final Fantasy VIII. Tonberry King appears as a boss in other Final Fantasy series games, usually with similar, but enhanced abilities. Additionally, Tonberry King is a rare card in the Triple Triad card game.
