UFO

In Final Fantasy VIII, UFO? is a mysterious enemy that players encounter at five different locations on the world map. During the first four encounters, UFO? will briefly appear and then quickly flee without engaging in battle. These locations include the Kashkabald Desert, Mandy Beach, Trabia Heath Peninsula, and Winhill Bluffs. In the fifth encounter, players can battle UFO? at the highlands of the Grandidi Forest. However, UFO? does not attack, making it easy to defeat and acquire the Aegis Amulet. After the battle, players will encounter the alien PuPu at the location where Balamb Garden used to be. PuPu will request five Elixirs from the player, and in exchange, PuPu will give a unique PuPu Card. If the player chooses to attack PuPu, they will obtain an Accelerator. If they use Devour, they will permanently boost the devouring character’s speed, but they will miss out on the PuPu card. The UFO? event is an interesting side quest that involves world exploration and rare item collection.
