Yui Shousetsu

Yui Shousetsu is a character in Fate/Grand Order, appearing as a Caster-class Servant. She is a young, samurai-styled warrior with her hair tied up, who disguises herself as a man to better embody the samurai ideal, despite being biologically female. Her true identity is that of a homunculus, a pseudo-artificial life form created through alchemy by Mori Souiken, a confidant of Amakusa Shirou, the leader of the Shimabara Rebellion. Although she appears to be in her late teens, she is actually over thirty years old. She possesses artificial Magic Circuits and received training in Western magecraft from Mori Souiken. After his death, she was raised in a samurai family and became a military scholar in Edo. She participated in the "Waxing Moon Ritual" and experienced a pseudo-Holy Grail War in a parallel world. As a Caster, Yui Shousetsu excels in magic-based combat, with skills that buff allies and provide varied support. Her Noble Phantasm's effects vary depending on the card buffs her allies possess. She is known to be honest, pure, and beloved by children and animals, while disliked by those with ill intentions. Her ideal is to rectify the distortions in the world and create an equal society.
