Originally a beautiful woman in Greek mythology, she was assaulted by the sea god Poseidon and wished to become a man to avoid further violation. Subsequently, Caenis became a powerful warrior and tyrant, known by the male name Caeneus. In the game, Caenis is portrayed with a feminine appearance but embodies a male persona and a strong desire for vengeance, fueled by her hatred for Poseidon.
