Oberon is a character from Fate/Grand Order (FGO), appearing as a Pretender-class Servant. He first appears in Lostbelt No. 6, "Avalon le Fae," claiming to be the Faerie King, but his true identity is Vortigern, a "doomsday device" of Faerie Britain. Oberon plays a complex role in the story, showing a gentle and friendly side while harboring hatred for humanity and a desire for destruction. His skills include powerful NP charging and NP damage buffs, but also come with negative effects like permanent sleep and NP reduction. Oberon's design is inspired by the Faerie King from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, while also incorporating the legend of Vortigern. He's a significant character in the game, profoundly impacting the plot and combat strategies. Oberon has multiple forms in the game, and his third ascension reveals his true form as the "Insect of the Abyss." The character design is by Chica Umino, and he is voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga.
