Van Gogh

In Fate/Grand Order, Van Gogh (ヴァン・ゴッホ) appears as a Foreigner-class Servant, a unique entity. Despite being a male painter in history, she is depicted as a female in the game, consistent with the Fate series' tradition of gender-bent characters. Van Gogh's in-game lore merges the historical painter with the Greek mythological water nymph Clytie, creating a composite Heroic Spirit. She possesses both Van Gogh's artistic talents and memories, along with Clytie's personality and some aspects of imaginary number space. In battle, Van Gogh is known for her unique skills and Noble Phantasms, offering powerful critical damage boosts to allies and the ability to absorb curse effects. Her Noble Phantasms, "Starry Night (De Sterrennacht)" and "The Yellow House (Het Gele Huis)", are based on her iconic paintings, showcasing her unique abilities. Van Gogh's personality blends the artist's sensitivity with the nymph's madness, making her a complex and fascinating Servant.
