Bedivere

Bedivere, also known as Bediwier, is a character featured in Fate/Grand Order, and one of the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian legend. In the game, he appears as a Saber-class Servant. He is the first member of the Knights of the Round Table, serving as the steward of the royal court and the king's caretaker. Unlike the Bedivere of the Fate/stay night timeline, the Bedivere in Fate/Grand Order is an alternate possibility, where he did not return Excalibur before Artoria’s death. Despite not being as popular as Lancelot, Percival, and Galahad, he is one of the senior knights along with Kay and Gawain. Bedivere is exceptionally loyal to King Arthur, even to the point of defying her orders. He believes his duty is not only to serve the king but also the people of Camelot. His silver arm, “Airgetlám,” is actually a disguised Excalibur, possessing immense power but also draining his life force. Bedivere is not a Heroic Spirit but a human from the past who is exceptionally registered as a Heroic Spirit because of his accomplishments in the sixth singularity. In Fate/Grand Order, Bedivere plays a crucial role in the sixth chapter, where his loyalty and sense of mission are deeply explored.
