Amakusa Shirou

Amakusa Shirou is a character from TYPE-MOON's *Fate* series, appearing as a Ruler-class Servant in *Fate/Apocrypha* and later in *Fate/Grand Order*, where he also has variations as an Avenger and other classes. Based on the historical figure Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, the leader of the Shimabara Rebellion in Edo-era Japan, he is portrayed as a boy with miraculous powers, capable of healing wounds and walking on water. In *Fate/Grand Order*, he is a strategic character known for his powerful AoE buff removal and crowd control, though his own damage output is relatively low. Once a leader of the Shimabara Rebellion seeking humanity's salvation, his ideals are often portrayed as extreme, leading to varying personalities and goals across different works. He has multiple versions, such as the Ruler form focused on order and salvation, and the Avenger form fueled by vengeance and destruction. He usually appears as a white-haired, tanned youth in religious-themed attire in the game, a character with a complex background and motivations.
