Darius III, a Berserker-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order (FGO), is the last emperor of the Achaemenid Empire of ancient Persia. Known for his towering stature, full body of gold ornaments, and unwavering fighting spirit, he is portrayed in Fate as a valiant war king, despite being historically remembered as a defeated ruler who lost to Alexander the Great. He yearns for a rematch on the battlefield with his rival Iskandar. His unique skills and Noble Phantasm, which include "Mad Enhancement" and the ability to summon an undead army with "Athanatoi Ten Thousand", make him a common choice for players as an efficient farming unit. Darius III's character design and story are popular among players, and despite his limited role in the main story, he appears in numerous events, making him a memorable character in the Fate series.
