Cú Chulainn (Prototype) is a Lancer-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order, also known as the "Hound of Culann." He is a hero from the Ulster Cycle of Celtic mythology, the son of the sun god Lugh, possessing great combat abilities and masterful spearmanship. Compared to the standard Cú Chulainn, the Prototype version is younger and more impulsive, like a vigorous hunting dog. He wears heavy armor but has even greater agility due to his youthful and forward-leaning nature. He wields the causality-reversing spear Gáe Bolg, which has two attack modes: Anti-Personnel thrusts and Anti-Army throws. Although he is not as composed as the mature Cú Chulainn, he holds a stronger affection for his mentor Scáthach. In battle, he exhibits great survivability and burst damage, especially against Beast-type enemies. He enjoys the company of dogs and interacts with another Lancer of the same name in the game, though their personalities and behaviors differ. Additionally, Cú Chulainn (Prototype) is proficient in Rune magecraft but tends not to use it.
