Diana (ダイアナ, Daiana) is a supporting character in The King of Fighters series. She first appeared in The King of Fighters 2000, featured in Kula Diamond's attacks, intro, and win poses. Diana was a high-ranking officer of the NESTS organization and a close friend of Foxy. They were assigned to the 'Anti-K' project, which was responsible for the development of Candy and Kula Diamond. Diana was in charge of Kula's training and developed a motherly affection for her, often accompanying her on missions. Diana is portrayed as a sharp businesswoman who enjoys her high rank. She is deeply attached to Kula and turned against NESTS because of her. Though not typically a fighter, her fighting style is believed to be similar to Foxy's, characterized by thrusting attacks, and often uses a butterfly motif in combat. Diana frequently appears as a butterfly on screen in The King of Fighters, particularly during Kula's special moves. She was initially planned to be a playable character in The King of Fighters 2001, but this was ultimately scrapped. Despite this, she remains a significant supporting character in the series, playing a key role in Kula's development and the overall storyline.
