Leona Heidern

Leona Heidern (レオナ・ハイデルン) is a character from The King of Fighters (拳皇, ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ) series. She first appeared in The King of Fighters '96, joining the Ikari Warriors team. Leona's official nickname is "The Silent Soldier." She is not human but is a descendant of the Orochi clan, possessing immense fighting abilities, but her inner self is troubled by the power of Orochi's blood. Her fighting style combines the military martial arts of her adoptive father Heidern with her own speed and agility. Leona is generally introverted, silent, and struggles to express emotions, fearing she will lose control and hurt her friends. Her tragic past includes the slaughter of her entire village when her Orochi blood went berserk as a child, resulting in memory loss. Later she was adopted by Heidern. Despite her inner turmoil, she strives to control her powers and becomes a reliable warrior. Leona has appeared in many installments of the King of Fighters series and other SNK-related works.
