Lien Neville

Lien Neville (リアン・ネヴィル) is a character from SNK's fighting game series The King of Fighters (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ), debuting in KOF: Maximum Impact. She also appears in the OVA The King of Fighters: Another Day. Her nickname is "The Sexy Avenger of the Shadows." Lien was designed as a counterpart to Mai Shiranui, with Mai representing a sexy and beautiful kunoichi and Lien a sexy Western femme fatale. Her outfits are intentionally tight, contrasting with Mai's loose attire. Lien underwent special training from a young age to become an assassin. Her syndicate was destroyed by the underworld's largest syndicate, 'Addis,' leading to the loss of many comrades. Vowing revenge, Lien went into hiding. She failed to eliminate Duke, the boss of 'Mephistopheles,' a syndicate subordinate to 'Addis,' and was ironically recruited by him. Her fighting style primarily uses close combat techniques. She also has a bracelet that can fire a satellite laser. Although one of the heroines in the series, she is designed to be more serious and darker than Mai Shiranui. She is voiced by Fumiko Inoue (Japanese) and Claire Caponigro (English).
