Nagase

Nagase, also known as Ryusei, is a character in The King of Fighters fighting game series, debuting in KOF: Maximum Impact 2. She is voiced by Ryoko Tanifuji and Kristen Erdman. Nagase's design is based on a honeybee, while her alternate outfit features a frog motif, highlighting the connection between ninjas and animals. She was created to "fit the times" and match the sequel's tone. Nagase was taken from one of Falcoon's early sketches and, in Ureshino's words, is "a very Falcoon design." Compared to other characters, Nagase is considered a "new modern" female character due to her computer expertise and aloofness towards her benefactors. In the story, Nagase is an N-Type Enforced Human transformed by Belphegor, an Addes sub-syndicate. She collects data via a Battle Disc System and has enhanced strength. Arrogant and disloyal, she fights only to test her limits. She dislikes "pretty boys" like Kyo and Rock, but likes older men like Duke and Geese. She is a rival to Mai Shiranui and a counterpart to Kula Diamond, wielding fire and ice respectively.
