Cosplayer Kyoko

Cosplayer Kyoko, also known as Kyoko (コスプレイヤー京子), is a character in The King of Fighters (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ) series of fighting games. She first appeared in The King of Fighters 2000 as a Striker for Shingo Yabuki. Kyoko is SNK's nod to female fans who frequently cosplay as Kyo Kusanagi at their events. She is voiced by Haruna Ikezawa. Kyoko is a young girl and, like Shingo, a devoted fan of Kyo Kusanagi. She cosplays as Kyo and tries to emulate his moves. She is outgoing and greatly hopes to meet her idol, Kyo. Kyoko's fighting style mimics that of Kyo, and her Striker action is the 75 Shiki: Kai. Although she isn't directly involved in the game's main storyline, Kyoko's presence highlights the passion of fans for The King of Fighters series, and adds a unique, fun element to the game.
