Lin

Lin is a character from The King of Fighters series. He first appeared in The King of Fighters 2000 as a member of the Benimaru Team. Lin is a ninja from the Hizoku clan, a group of assassins from Hebei, China, who specialize in turning their blood into poison. He was once a close friend of Ron, the leader of the Hizoku, and was responsible for training Ron's nine sons and even his illegitimate daughter, Xiao Lon. After Ron's betrayal and the murder of many clan members, Lin joined forces with three other Hizoku Devas and entered the King of Fighters tournament at the behest of Seth in order to locate their missing leader. Later, learning that Ron had defected to NESTS, Lin tracked the remnants of NESTS in hopes of finding Ron and exacting revenge. Despite his limited appearances in the series, Lin's unique ninja design and fighting style distinguish him from other ninja characters. He is known for being serious and loyal to the Hizoku clan. His fighting style combines Chinese Kung Fu, particularly Bajiquan or Piguaquan, with swift and deadly movements. Lin adds a mysterious and distinct element to the King of Fighters series, and remains a fan favorite despite not being a main character.
